Carmel, Ind. (Oct. 24, 2025) – Multiple lane restrictions and intermittent stoppages are scheduled to begin this weekend in the Level Up 31 project area. Crews will be completing a traffic switch, installing barrier wall, and moving equipment to facilitate ongoing construction. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted signage in the area.
Monday, October 27
- Intermittent 10-minute stoppages at the westbound I-465 ramp leading to southbound Meridian Street from 11:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Intermittent 10-minute stoppages on southbound Meridian Street between 103rd Street and 96th Street from 11:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Tuesday, October 28
- Northbound and southbound U.S. 31 will experience intermittent single-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the I-465 overpass.
Wednesday, October 29
- Northbound and southbound U.S. 31 will experience intermittent single-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the I-465 overpass.
Thursday, October 30
- Northbound and southbound U.S. 31 will experience intermittent single-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the I-465 overpass.
- Westbound 106th Street will be closed at U.S. 31 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Saturday, November 1
- 20-minute stoppages possible on the I-465 eastbound ramp leading to U.S. 31 northbound from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted due to inclement weather. Drivers are encouraged to following posted signs and proceed with caution when traveling through construction zones.
