INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 9, 2025) – The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public hearing for the Level Up 31 project on Tuesday, May 13. The hearing will allow the public to receive project information and updates, ask questions, view project maps, and provide official public comment related to the project.
The hearing will be held at the Drury Plaza Hotel Indianapolis Carmel (9625 N. Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46290). Doors will open at 5 p.m. with a formal presentation set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Level Up 31 aims to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the interchange between I- 465 and U.S. 31 (Meridian Street) on the north side of Indianapolis to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety.
Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2025. The proposed maintenance of traffic plans include phased construction and closures.
